Leda and the Swan

This is my take on Leda and the Swan. Inspired by French Sculpture Etienne Maurice Falconet's Leda and the Swan statuette, created in 1766. My hope was to capture the grace and elegance of the sculpture, while creating an Illustration that combined a painterly background representing the many centuries of art inspired by the Greek Myth, with the latest advancements in the world of art.

Here's a few fliers I've done for a Photoshop Workshop class I'm leading. In the orange and blue flier, the second flier I did, I was playing around with 3D in photoshop and through the car in there to get a feel for the program. "Long Story Short" I used the same car. Now I feel it only makes sense to use the same shot of the car for any additional fliers I may do. I believe it would be a fun challenge and push me creatively.

Here's my first attempted at "the water dress". Turned out pretty well. The biggest challenge was getting the water to splash the way I wanted it. I look forward to having a studio with a work shop!
